Who we are
Founded in Soroti in 2023, MSM carries a mandate of prophecy, healing, deliverance and practical restoration rooted in Jesus Christ.
Our story
Miraculous Synagogue Ministries was established in Soroti City in 2023 by Pastor Emanu Georwell together with Pastor Martha Amuge.
The ministry began with a conviction drawn from 1 Corinthians 2:4–5: faith should rest not in human wisdom, but in the power of God. From that foundation, MSM has become a gathering place for worship, biblical preaching, prophecy, prayer, healing, deliverance and restoration.
Our heart reaches across generations and communities. We care for families, disciple young people and build practical projects that respond to vulnerability with dignity and hope.
Whether someone is beginning a journey of faith, returning to church or searching for a spiritual home, we want them to find truth, belonging, healing and room to grow.
What guides us
Our ministry is shaped by the Gospel, strengthened through prayer and expressed through lives of worship, service and compassion.
A Soroti and Teso sub-region transformed by the demonstrated power of the Holy Spirit—one healed, delivered and restored life at a time.
To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power, disciple believers, minister healing and deliverance, strengthen families and serve with compassion.
To create a spiritual home where people encounter God, discover purpose and carry renewed faith into their families and communities.
How we live our faith
These commitments guide how we worship, learn, care for people and serve Soroti City.
We gather around Jesus Christ and the hope, grace and new life found in Him.
We value practical biblical teaching that helps people follow God faithfully in everyday life.
We pray in faith, trusting God to bring wisdom, comfort, restoration and transformation.
We honour God through worship that engages our hearts, choices, gifts and daily lives.
We create welcoming spaces where people are known, supported and encouraged to grow.
We put faith into practice by serving people and responding to needs with dignity and care.
Pastoral welcome
Our desire is that every person who walks through our doors experiences the love of Christ, the truth of His Word and a community ready to walk with them.
“Bring your faith, your questions and your hopes. Together, we will look to God and trust His power to transform lives.”

From altar to community
Our faith moves beyond Sunday. MSM is building three major projects around a permanent church home, vocational skilling, and radio with crusade equipment—alongside developing restoration pathways for street-connected children and women rebuilding life after exploitation.
